Research Groups
Research Groups of the Faculty of Arts are collegiate groups made up of professors dedicated to the production of knowledge through collaborative research, the search for links with the dynamics of the disciplinary field, and interactive work with educational programs. The productivity resulting from these efforts has to do with the analysis of artistic works, theoretical and methodological reflection with a strong interdisciplinary vision, and creative production from a critical point of view.

DESCRIPTION
The work of this line consists of the systematization and support of the creative process from its conception as an object of analysis through project methodology for its logical ordering in classic and contemporary theoretical categories that ascribe the works, artists, theorists and approaches analyzed within a school, trend or influence of the field of art endowed with a coherent sense and support all those actions that lead to the construction of knowledge from art.

Audiovisual studies and production
DESCRIPTION
This line of study deals with the creative and production processes of cinematographic, videographic, and multimedia works. It also studies the ways in which viable and relevant audiovisual communication projects can be developed within the framework of current cultural policies.

DESCRIPTION
Tiene como objetivo investigar la narrativa que se desarrolla en varios medios audiovisuales, así como contemplar las relaciones entre estas narrativas y elementos externos que complementan su interpretación y significado.
